Melanie Salort has worked as an occupational therapist for 20 years, specializing in the area of Sensory Processing and working with individuals from infants to adults. Ms. Salort has an interest in blending her knowledge of sensory processes to support mental health concerns and trauma experiences.
In 2017, Ms. Salort completed UMASS Boston’s Infant-Parent Mental Health fellowship to better understand how to support the parent-child relationship. Her therapeutic approach sees the child as part of the family unit, and supporting the whole family allows for a greater potential for change.

Melanie Salort,
OTR/L
Jaymie earned her Master of Science degree in occupational therapy, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as Valedictorian of her class at the University at Buffalo in New York. As an occupational therapist, she specializes in sensory integration and has extensive training in trauma/attachment, sound therapies (Therapeutic Listening and Integrated Listening Systems), oral motor/feeding, and craniosacral therapy. She is also a practitioner in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Jaymie has experience working with children and families in the home, school, and clinic setting, as well as running parent/child community-based sensory motor groups and summer camps.

Jaymie Stavdal,
MS, OTR/L
Elisha is a marriage and family therapy intern currently enrolled at Kairos University. He loves exercising his imagination while engaging with children, couples, and families. Believing with hope and optimism that with the proper support and curiosity, individuals and families can experience healing through a systems-based approach.
He deeply desires to see families strengthened and encouraged, drawing on models of narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, internal family systems, and attachment theory to seek meaningful change. He's delighted to work at the Center for Family Connection.

Elisha Hodgson,
MFT Intern
Liz graduated from Sacred Heart University and from Lesley University with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Holistic Counseling. She has received training experiences including TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), PSB-CBT (Problematic Sexual Behavior - Cognitive behavioral therapy), and has a strong TBRI (Trust-based Relational Intervention) influence.
Liz is excited to serve children and families through humanistic, creative arts, and activity-based interventions. She is passionate about trauma informed, attachment focused and sensory rich therapeutic work. Liz believes the best ways for children and families to learn is through modeling, playfulness, and experiences.

Elizabeth (Liz) Cuzzupe, LMHC
Mishy is a bilingual family therapy intern currently enrolled at Abilene Christian University. In working with families, couples, and individuals she believes a therapeutic relationship should be one fostered with authenticity, collaboration, safety and support.
Mishy likes to focus on the strengths that clients already possess while also striving to help clients find more adaptive habits that lead to more meaningful and fulfilling lives. Through these focuses she loves to see the change that comes as families connect and grow. She is excited to be a part of the Center for Family Connection.
